Vice Chairman, Business Development – Network and Technology Services
Terry Cordova serves as Vice Chairman, Business Development – Network and Technology Services for Altice USA, where he is responsible for helping to deliver on the Company’s U.S. network and technology growth strategy efforts and represent the collective technical capabilities, interests and offerings of Altice in the U.S. to current and potential partners within the telecommunications and media space.
Previously, Mr. Cordova served as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for Altice USA, where he was responsible for the engineering team with oversight of technology strategy and architecture, as well as network operations and infrastructure, for the residential and small-to-medium business video, voice and data services.
Prior to Altice USA’s acquisition of Suddenlink Communications, Mr. Cordova held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, leading the Suddenlink engineering operations team with oversight for all B2C & B2B engineering and technical operations. His team built a national backbone to support service delivery of telephony, video (SD, HD) and high speed data service including peering and caching with major Internet content providers and ISPs.
Before joining Suddenlink, Mr. Cordova was Division Vice President of Engineering for Charter Communications’ Southeast Division, serving three million customers in nine states. He was responsible for all engineering and technical operations for the Division while at Charter.
Mr. Cordova is a long-standing member of SCTE (Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers). He is three-term Board member, and most recently served as chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2011 he was named to the year’s class of Cable TV Pioneers, was inducted into the SCTE Hall of Fame, served as chairman of SCTE’s Cable-Tec EXPO, and was named CTO of the Year by Multichannel News. He also was named co-person of the year (for 2012) by CED Magazine, and is a Mid America Cable Pathfinder.
Mr. Cordova holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Kansas State University.
